The GTS–IRTA Technical Forum officially begins its journey, bringing together expertise, experience, and innovation through a strategic collaboration between انجمن تونل ایران IRTA and the Greek Tunnelling Society, supported by SYSTRA Italy.
This forum is born out of a shared commitment to driving automation and digitalization, sharing innovative technical insights, and empowering the next generation of young tunnellers and engineers worldwide.
The GTS-IRTA Technical Forum will be led by Hanan Samadi (Chair of IRTAym) and Doris Skenderas (Vice Chair of Greek Tunnelling Society Young Members), whose vision and leadership will guide our upcoming programs, technical exchanges, and youth initiatives.
 Upcoming Event: The First Webinar Series To kick off this collaboration, we invite you to join our first webinar series, broadcasting live online on 9 July 2026 at 14:30 -16:00 CET.
This session will delve into one of the most critical topics in modern infrastructure: "Next-Gen Risk Management in Tunnelling."
We are deeply honoured to bring together a distinguished panel of association presidents, global leaders, and industry visionaries whose dedication continues to shape the future of underground construction:
