Tehran_Irna_Tehran’s mayor said:”By opening of the line 8 of Tehran subway and the final completion and testing of line 6,construction of the subway in Tehran has ended. According to Irna ‘s reporter: On Monday at the opening of the line 8 of Tehran subway ,Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf added in the group of reporters:” line 8 of the subway has completed to Imam Khomeini Airport and there must be continued about 19 kilometers to reach the city of Parand. He said:”part of infrastructures which is needed to continue the route of this subway line is done,which I hope that part will continue to run fast to the city of Parand. He said:Tehran’s subway line 8 was tested by the Imam Khomeini Airport in April this year ,and today this line has been officially opened and operated. Around the clock activity of the line 8: The mayor of Tehran further referred to the operation of the subway line and said:”line 8 of the subway will be the first line which is open around the clock,since most of the passengers at Imam Khomeini Airport ride in the middle of the night. Ghalibaf also announced about the special design of wagons at the Imam Khomeini Airport’s subway line and added:”special wagons of line 8 are under construction and the final stages of their construction are done at the Tehran wagon factory. According to him these wagons will be added to the fleet the next few months,which are completely different in color and interior furniture.
